Encompass Ethiopia Tours was founded in 2017 by Sisay Ferede, a native of Lalibela. After years of guiding travelers across every corner of the country and listening to the stories that made each place unique, Sisay saw a need for a different kind of travel—one that goes deeper than the standard tourist path.
His vision was to create a company guided by gratitude—for the land, the communities we work with, and the travelers who trust us to share Ethiopia with care.
Today, we are a close-knit team made up primarily of Ethiopians with a passionate commitment to showing Ethiopia's most authentic side—its landscapes, its history, its culture, and above all, its people.
